The Alpaca




Alpaca's are members of the South American camelid family which includes Vicunas, Guanacos, Alpacas and Llamas. They have lived since the time of the Inca's.

Peruvian Alpaca fibre

1) Hand-woven in the Andes using ancient hand-made and industrial weaving methods.
2) Alpacas are never harmed in the shearing process. They are sheared not skinned and all animals are treated ethically.
3) Alpaca is 7 times stronger and 3 times warmer than Merino wool.
4) Alpaca retains its shape, softness and luxurious characteristics over an extended period.
5) Hypoallergenic and lanolin free - it does not absorb or retain moisture.
