Peter Reed Achieves Five Years of Planet Mark Certification
At Peter Reed, our sustainability commitment is simple: to make the finest linens, made the fairest way possible.
Since 1861, we've crafted products with care, integrity and longevity, values that continue to shape our business today.
Today marks our fifth year as a Planet Mark Certified Business, a milestone that reflects our continued commitment to measuring and reducing our carbon footprint.
What is Planet Mark?
Planet Mark is an internationally recognised third-party sustainability certification that supports businesses in reducing their environmental impact and driving meaningful change.
Certification is awarded to organisations actively measuring their carbon emissions and committing to continual improvement year after year.

A Commitment to Responsible Manufacturing
As a British manufacturer, we are proud to continue producing made-to-order bed linen in Lancashire, supporting skilled craftsmanship and responsible production close to home.
Over the past five years, our electricity emissions have decreased by 80.5%, our upstream transportation and distribution emissions have reduced by 34.5% and 100% of waste generated during product manufacturing at our Lancashire factory is now recycled.
Maintaining Planet Mark Certification for five consecutive years reflects the ongoing work happening across our business to operate more thoughtfully every day.

Looking Ahead
Sustainability is not a single achievement, but a continual commitment. Reaching this five-year milestone represents the progress we have made so far, while reinforcing our ambition to keep improving for the future.
As we move forward, our focus remains the same: crafting exceptional British-made linens with care, longevity and responsibility at the heart of everything we do.
