Apprentice Embroiderer 

An exciting apprenticeship opportunity to join a dedicated team of highly skilled craftspeople and learn the full embroidery process from the ground up.

You will be trained to operate our in-house embroidery machines and develop a strong understanding of every stage of production at our Lancashire factory, from daily machine care and setup through to the creation of finished embroidered products. 

You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas toward new designs as your skills develop.

What you will learn and do:

• Operate and maintain industrial embroidery machines under supervision
• Gain hands-on experience across the full embroidery production process
• Learn quality control and finishing techniques
• Develop an understanding of textile craftsmanship and design development
• Support the team in producing high-quality embroidered products

What we are looking for:

• A genuine interest in textile manufacturing, interiors, or craftsmanship
• Enthusiasm to learn embroidery techniques from the ground up
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• A reliable, committed attitude with willingness to be trained
• No previous experience required, full training will be provided

Location: Peter Reed (Butterworth Mill), 30B Churchill Way, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 6RT

Days: Monday to Thursday

Hours:  7.30am – 4.30pm (including Breaks (15-minutes x2) and Lunch (30-minutes)
