Peter Reed at SAVED New York

British embroidered bed linen meets luxury cashmere

Founded in Lancashire in 1861, Peter Reed is one of Britain’s most established linen houses, renowned for hand-guided embroidery, exceptional materials and generations of craftsmanship. Made at the historic Butterworth Mill and recognised with a Royal Warrant, Peter Reed’s work represents the highest standards of British bed linen.

Peter Reed is now featured at SAVED New York through an exclusive collaboration that brings its heritage embroidery into dialogue with luxury Mongolian cashmere.

A collaboration rooted in craftsmanship

SAVED New York creates luxury blankets, throws and pillows from hand-combed Mongolian fibres, including cashmere, yak and camel hair. Each piece is made in Mongolia at a family-owned workshop, with a focus on storytelling, longevity and heirloom quality.

The SAVED New York x Peter Reed collaboration reinterprets Peter Reed’s signature embroidered designs through cashmere, maintaining visual continuity while introducing a new material expression. Rather than reinventing the brand, the collection extends its established aesthetic into a complementary category.

The Cornucopia design

The Cornucopia cashmere blanket is a central piece within the collaboration. Featuring gold borders framing a cornucopia motif on ivory cashmere, the design mirrors the refined border embroidery found across Peter Reed’s bed linen collections. This creates a cohesive visual language between embroidered bedding and cashmere blankets.

The result is a considered balance of heritage and contemporary luxury, allowing both textile traditions to coexist without compromise.

The collaboration includes both embroidered bed linen and cashmere blankets across three designs:

  • Calligraphy embroidered bedding and cashmere blankets
  • String of Pearls embroidered bedding and cashmere blankets
  • Cornucopia embroidered bedding and cashmere blankets

Bedding collections are available across a full range of sizes, while cashmere blankets are offered as throws or full bed sizes.

A shared approach to luxury

Peter Reed and SAVED New York share a commitment to material integrity, craft-led production and products designed to endure. This collaboration reflects a natural meeting of values: British embroidered bed linen translated into cashmere through a contemporary design lens.
