This shared ethos was beautifully brought to life at the House of Walpole residence at No. 1 Palace Street, curated by Oliver Burns Studio. Inspired by the Palace Gardens, the concept explored British heritage through layered storytelling, romantic detail and a quiet sense of refinement.

For the master suite, we provided bespoke Peter Reed bed linen, embroidered with love letters written by Prince Albert to Queen Victoria, rendered in her favoured Sea Island cotton. The embroidery forms an intimate, personal layer within the space, allowing history to be experienced not as display, but as something felt and lived with.

Elsewhere in the residence, linens embroidered with fauna drawn from the original palace gardens extend the narrative, echoing the landscaping and stories hidden within these private green spaces. Each detail was considered, each stitch part of a wider story that honours place, memory and craftsmanship.

The House of Walpole stands as a celebration of British luxury at its most thoughtful, where heritage is not preserved behind glass, but reinterpreted with care, sensitivity and modern relevance.
